The short version: we are a private consultancy, not a government body; we help you apply, but we do not decide the outcome, and neither does anyone else selling you a service like this.

1. We are not a government body

Abdullah Travels is a private, independent visa consultancy. We are not an embassy, a consulate, a high commission, a visa application centre, UK Visas and Immigration, or any other government department, and we are not authorised by, endorsed by or affiliated with any of them.

If you have reached this website believing it to be an official government service, it is not. Official information about Schengen visas is available free of charge from the embassy or consulate of the country you intend to visit, and you are entitled to apply entirely on your own without using us or anyone like us.

2. We do not decide visa applications

Every visa decision is made solely by the relevant embassy, consulate or immigration authority, applying its own rules. We have no influence over that decision, no special access, no contacts who can expedite it, and no ability to overturn a refusal.

We cannot and do not guarantee that any application will be approved. Anyone in this industry who guarantees you a visa is not telling you the truth.

3. What we actually do

We help you put together an application that is complete, consistent and properly presented, and — depending on the service you choose — we secure your appointment and prepare the supporting documentation. That is genuinely useful and it is what you are paying for. It is not the same thing as a guaranteed outcome.

4. We are not immigration advisers or lawyers

Our service covers travel visa applications. We do not provide immigration advice within the meaning of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999, and we do not advise on settlement, asylum, nationality, appeals or any other immigration matter.

If your situation involves any of those, you should speak to a solicitor or an adviser regulated by the Immigration Advice Authority. If we think that applies to you, we will say so rather than take your money.

5. Fees and timescales are not ours to control

Embassy fees, application centre charges, appointment availability and processing times are all set by other organisations and change without notice. Any figure or timescale we mention is our best current understanding, given in good faith, and is not a promise.

6. Information on this website

The general information on this website is provided to help you understand the process. It is not advice about your specific circumstances, it may not be current, and it should not be relied on as the sole basis for a decision about your travel or your money.

For advice about your particular application, speak to us or to the relevant embassy directly.
